Proposed Dam-Modification Projects Discussed at Public Open House

On June 12, 2008 the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County and DuPage County Stormwater Management held a public-information and comment open house to address the Warrenville and McDowell Grove dam-modification projects.

These are the first dam-removal projects in DuPage County and some of the first in northeastern Illinois. 

Comments will assist in the final review and permitting process and may help sculpt how dam-modification projects are reviewed, permitted and funded in the future.
